Scavenger Hunt Clues, Rules and Instructions!
If you’re reading this, the hunt has begun!
To signal that you’ve entered the hunt, take a picture of your bike, with the caption “I’m in!” while tagging us in Facebook or Instagram (@bikebatonrouge for both), then use the hashtag #bikebrhunt
For each clue, take a pic of your bike with/next to/in front of the answer to the clue while tagging us @bikebatonrouge with #bikebrhunt. Simple!
Here is the list of clues: (if you prefer it in google doc format, here it is). You can collect these in any order you wish. First to get all 10 will be notified, as will everyone else. 1st place, 2nd place and best photo get a prize! Happy Hunting!
1. I've got two bridges over the MS River named after me. I stand looking at the place where I died.
2. Kids used to slide down me during home football games. I might just be two of North America's oldest manmade structures.
3. I was born in Detroit. I've got my own street and, as of last year, my own statue.
4. I'll be starring alongside Tom Hanks in the coming movie: Greyhound. Hint: I am not a bus.
5. I'm round, I've got a Pelican on me and I weigh 250 lbs. There are many of me.
6. Me and my twin brother (sister?) are frozen in time, no longer able to spit water at each other as we watch the cars go by overhead
7. I was played best by John Butterfield or Little Walter, depending on who you ask. You can see me from a boat.
8. I'm a giant root beer float on a stick
9. For you literary folks... I'm a place where the Queen of Hearts would strike a hedgehog with a pink flamingo
10. I'm an anagram of GREY WAND WONTON EWE. I've got two new sections that will be complete soon!
